What Ann’s Choice home design did you choose?
We chose the Jackson. It has two bedrooms, two baths, an extra-large kitchen with windows, many closets, and an extra room that can be a home office. We love it.
What do you like most about living at Ann’s Choice?
I think the best part about living at Ann’s Choice is you have freedom to be involved in all the activities or continue with your lifestyle. With us, it’s our church, and it just gives you great opportunity to live in your home. You also can close the door and go away on a trip and not be worried . . . that’s a good part of the freedom.
What interests are you pursuing?
We use the fitness club and pool. We have a bank, we have a pharmacy, we have a convenience store . . . There’s just all the amenities you need like the post office or grocery store, and more.
What attracted you to Ann’s Choice?
One of the things that made us choose Ann’s Choice was the medical facility that’s here. I like the fact that things are on computer, that it’s easily accessed. The fact that the doctor is here and has no other patients. There is a tremendous positive atmosphere in Ann’s Choice. You walk down the hall and people say hello, they smile.
How important was the financial structure of Erickson communities?
One of the reasons we chose Ann’s Choice is it is fully refundable* if we should decide to move; or, when we pass away, it will come back to our estate. And we felt that that was like putting money in the bank.
